INSTITUTE FOR SONIC ARTS RESEARCH (IRZU)

The Institute for Sonic Arts Research (IRZU) is a non-governmental organisation. On January 24th the premiere of the piece "Sonic beams / Acoustic shadows" - by Miha Ciglar and Nika Autor - will take place at La Generale at 14 Avenue Parmentier in Paris, France. More infos on the project: here

On January 20th Miha Ciglar - the director od IRZU is holding a guest lecture at IRCAM - Centre Pompidou at 1 place Igor-Stravinsky in Paris, France. He will present recent artistic and research projects of IRZU - Institute for Sonic Arts Research

On January 10th, the performance "A small contribution to the genesis of everyday life" (2008) by Miha Ciglar, Nika Autor is being performed at the festival Upgrade Paris 2010 @ Ars longa in Paris, France. More infos on the project: here. On January 12th, Miha Ciglar and Nika Autor are holding a lecture / presentation of their work - at the same event in Paris.

On December 22nd we are opening an exhibition at the gallery Media Nox - Zidovska 12, in Maribor, featuring the project: "Who are the Artists?" by Nika Autor, Miha Ciglar, Tjasa Pogacar-Podgornik, Vasja Progar and Andrej Skufca. The exhibition is openning at 18.00 Oclock and will be running untill the 8th. January 2010 More infos on the project: here

On December 2nd the performance "A small contribution to the genesis of everyday life" (2008) by Miha Ciglar, Nika Autor is being performed at the exhibition ARSENAL DEPO 2K9 at Viba Film studios in Ljubljana. infos on the project: here.
